It’s that time of the year again. Spring! Though the last Winter weeks in Kentucky was crazy – that was the tornado hitting the neighboring county Henryville, followed by snow two days later, then rainy days come along… It’s Spring indeed! Spring has never been my favorite. But somehow, the early part is pretty with blossoms budding out of the Maple Trees. And of course, the rainy days – I love. Memories of me playing with my siblings and childhood friends under the pouring rain come flashing back… I wish we owned some pretty rain chains, but we never did… Plus the scent of the water that just started to pour out of the skies is just lovely.
For those who have green thumb, this season is probably the most awaited one. I never was attracted to gardening, but my mom is. Last year she got a bird bath, probably this year, I’ll ask her to get a rain chain. I often see it on Japanese movies, and their houses look so pretty with those rain chains on. It just excites me on how an object that chains rain down creates such a lovely picture. And this is actually a good picture for photography too..
For those who have seasonal allergies, having a medicine with you all the time would be very helpful. Especially those who are travelling. For those hitting the sand and sun, always use sun block. Skin Cancer wouldn’t be very lovely. Plus, who loves a roasted looking skin? Tan is pretty, but too much is an eyesore. Oh well.. I guess the most important thing is for you all to enjoy the season. So have a good SPRING season to all of you..
